Easy to See, Great to Wear!

Brooks NightLife apparel is highly visible and highly technical. The bright color makes it very easy to see in day light or low visiblity conditions (such as fog) and the reflective material makes it visible in dark conditions. They offer jackets, tights, gloves, hats, headbands, socks, lights, and other items as part of this popular product line. Stop in and check it out.

Training Tip

Q: How do I know what to wear for training during cold weather months?

A: First, dress for about 15-20 degrees warmer than the actual temperature since you will be generating heat during your run (dress for 45-50 degress when the thermometer reads 30 degrees). Second, avoid cotton since it holds sweat and moisture next to your skin which will give you the chills. Lastly, dress in several light-weight layers that you can shed if you get too warm. Your outter layer should protect you from wind, snow, rain, sleet.

Training Runs

Join us for a weekly training run at Highbanks Metro Park. We meet at 7:30 AM every Saturday morning. The pace and distance varies since different people are training for different events. It doesn't matter whether you're fast or slow. It doesn't matter whether you want to run 4-5 miles or are training for a marathon.

There's no reason to pay other training groups to give you a route and a water jug. Just join us for a scenic run. There are plenty of experienced marathoners and ultra-marathoners at most runs who will be happy to answer any of your questions.

For more information, details on where we meet, and a map check the link below:
