The Waldo Fireman's Festival 2-Alarm Relay Race was July 28, 2007. It featured a unique two by one-mile relay race composed of two-person teams. The team members could be any ages or genders. Division champions were crowned in the male/male, male/female, and female/female categories. Sub-Division champions were awarded to the best finishers in each category based upon adding the team members' ages.

Austin Schmidt and Ryan Hershner of Columbus, Ohio, teamed to win the overall championship and the male/male division of the Waldo Fireman’s Festival 2-Alarm Relay Race on Saturday, July 28, 2007, at Waldo, Ohio.

Schmidt and Hershner had a combined time of 9:30 in the two by one-mile relay road race through the streets of Waldo. The overall male/female division champions were Jeff Dine and Shara Dine of Marion in a combined time of 11:43, while Lacey Lauer and Khayla Roach were champions in the overall female/female division with a time of 12:24 for the two-mile course.

Other division winners: Travis Schwaderer and Josh Rivers in the under age 25 male/male division; T.J. Badertscher and Jordan Davies in 26 – 36 year-old male/male division; Hunter Mercer and Jason Cook in 37 – 50 male/male; Mark Montgomery and Jonathan Montgomery 51 – 70 male/male; Robert Krile and Dwayne Reynolds 71 – 100 male/male; Megan Oliver and Phillip Nicol under 25 male/female; Sarah Farrell and Jordan Hershner 26 – 36 male/female; Cassie Johnson and Tyler Spears 37 – 50 male/female; Brent Burggraf and Jessie Burgraff 71 – 100 male/female; Erin Baldinger and Hailee Sands 26 – 36 female/female; and Denise Spires and Kate Jacob 71 – 100 female/female.
